Meet the DJs Giving Back Through Music

GG Chavez is a Fullerton-based DJ known for blending tech house, minimal, and deep tech with touches of UKG, dance, and Afro house. Her journey into DJing began during a difficult turning point in her life, when music became both an escape and a path toward rebuilding herself. What started as a creative outlet grew into a deep personal connection with sound, rhythm, and the underground scene that helped her find confidence, belonging, and purpose.

With a background in theater and saxophone, GG Chavez brings musicality and emotional depth into her sets, creating textured, groove-driven experiences that connect with dance floors in an authentic way. She credits the Los Angeles scene for helping her grow as an artist and build meaningful relationships that supported her career.

Volunteering with Groove N Give gives her a way to give back to a community that welcomed her and to support families and youth in need — something she connects with personally from her own upbringing. For her, community care is tangible and local, and even small acts of support can make a lasting difference.

Full Frontal is a Los Angeles-based DJ known for pushing bass-forward underground sounds, including garage, drum and bass, jungle, house, and UK-inspired club styles. Drawing deep influence from UK dance culture, he brings high-energy selections and raw rhythm to every set, aiming to move crowds into a higher shared state through sound and movement. Through residencies and collaborations with collectives such as Mayhem Events and CLB EVL, he continues to spread his passion for dance music across the LA scene.

For Full Frontal, volunteering with Groove N Give was a natural decision. He credits Los Angeles for shaping his love of music and people, and believes that in difficult times, giving back to the community is not optional — it’s necessary. His view of community extends beyond friend circles to include neighbors and strangers alike, grounded in the belief that everyone is part of a larger whole and shares responsibility in supporting one another.

Driven by the infectious energy of the crowd, he curates unforgettable experiences whether performing at intimate venues or larger club settings. With a signature sound that fuses rhythm, groove, and elevation, MixWithBryan continues to establish himself as a solid and dynamic performer in the local scene. He chose to volunteer for Groove N Brew because of the event’s powerful mission to support the community. To him, community is the foundation of DJ culture — the reason artists are able to create and share these experiences — and giving back ensures that we take care of one another both on and off the dance floor.
